Green Scene Atlanta

Last evening I attended the Green Scene Atlanta networking event for the second time. It was a great time networking in a relaxing environment as their description states. It was very crowded so I suggest anyone who wants to attend…get their early. My only comment would be that the music was too loud and being in a restaurant with concrete floors made it even louder. But I met some incredible contacts and look forward to following up and interviewing them for GREEN REVOLUTION. I also attended in February so I think it's time for me to join the USGBC Atlanta Branch.

Green Scene is a USGBC Atlanta Branch monthly networking event for professionals who are passionate about sustainability. The goal of Green Scene is to create a relaxed setting where members and potential members can learn about upcoming educational events, build a network of sustainable resources, and learn to how to get more involved in the local USGBC branch.

This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month (unless rescheduled by the Chapter) from 6-9pm at various venues within I-285 in Atlanta. Attendance ranges from a minimum of 100 to more than 200 attendees. Check out their calendar for upcoming events.
